In this delightful ballet, Nina Ananiashvili and Aleksei Fadeyetchev portray the lovers Kitri and Basilio; Alexsandr Astafiev is featured in the title role as Don Quixote, and Evgeny Katusov is his comic squire Sancho Panza. This joyous new production of composer Leon Minkus' ballet, which tells the tale of an old knight who dreams of chivalry and tilts at windmills, is a visual treat for dance lovers of all ages. Nina Ananiashvili's superb technical command is a thrilling dance experience which the viewer will want to enjoy again and again.
